Writing "About Me" letters is awkward so here how the story goes:
:
A friend of mine asked me what I would do, work-wise, if I had two million Euros. The first thing that came to my mind was «travel the world, take pictures and write about it». When I told him that, his next question was «so why don’t you do it anyway?» and in my mind I started thinking «why don’t I do it anyway?».
So I did it.
This is my travel journal.
I’m a journalist and a photographer with a strong wanderlust, born and raised in Cyprus (Google it). I travel as often as I can, not only because of my wish to explore the world but also because I have a huge desire to escape, even for a short period of time.
For me, travelling is a natural way to heal, to recover, to learn, to rejoice…
As a kid I’ve been in some places, then I grew up and for some reason I stopped travelling. That was until 2011 when I decided to visit Barcelona (lifelong dream), before I started studying journalism, and therefore before growing to love photography. So this is why Barcelona is not included in this blog. In late 2014 I moved to London for six months, then during the summer of 2015 I traveled to Budapest to visit my cousin and, well, the rest is written here.
Also, in every travel, there's a song stuck in my head. I have included those songs just because it's cool, and all the pictures in this blog are taken by me (still a photographer, check nakis. photography)
I will not close this with an inspirational quote.
